Shifnal car 'fully involved in fire' in overnight blaze
A car described as being "fully involved in fire" was tackled by firefighters overnight and saw a man treated in hospital
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) was called to in Grindle Road, Shifnal, at around midnight. Crews required breathing apparatus and a hose-reel jet to extinguish the flames.
The stop message was received at 2.13am.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said the occupant was taken to hospital.
He said: "We were called to reports of a single vehicle RTC on Grindle Road at 12.14am. One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Princess Royal Hospital."
