Funeral held for Telford champion boxer Dylan, 21
The funeral of a young champion boxer from Telford has been held.
Family and friends gathered to say their goodbyes to 21-year-old Dylan Brassington, who died on January 2.
Thousands of pounds were raised by members of the community towards the cost of the funeral.
An auction organised by Telford-based former world champion Richie Woodhall helped to raise £820.
Dylan was a member of Wellington Boxing Academy where Richie is president.
Mo Fiaz, Dylan’s coach at the academy, said Dylan would be missed.
"He was a lovely lad and a very good boxer," he said.
"He had a promising career ahead of him. It is a great loss."
