Firefighters rescue Labrador from roof of Telford home
Firefighters rescued a dog from the roof of a house in Telford after the animal climbed out of a window.
The three-year-old Labrador, called Rosie, was rescued from the roof of a house in Mill Bank, Wellington, on Monday afternoon.
Firefighters were called just before 2.20pm.
The animal was rescued via a window with the use of a rescue hook.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service later took to Twitter to write: "Rosie the three-year-old Labrador had a head for heights this afternoon when fire crews from @SFRSWellington were called to 'retrieve' her from a roof.
"She was none the worse for wear after her outing #barking #notjustfires #doggydaycare."
