Memorial tribute to Telford boxer Richie's father
Former Telford world boxing champion Richie Woodhall will pay tribute to his father Len at a memorial event on Saturday.
The WBC super-middleweight star will be guest of honour at the sold out dinner and amateur boxing show.
About 400 people are expected to turn out in honour of Len, who had been a boxing trainer for more than 40 years.
Len died, aged 75, in July 2015, after an eight-year battle with prostate cancer.
The event, organised by Wellington Boxing Academy which he founded, will be held at the town's Whitehouse Hotel.
Academy chairman Mo Fiaz said the event had sold out.
"It is a dinner followed by an amateur boxing show with 12 fighters," he said.
