The spring edition of "Wellingtonia" had originally been due for publication last September under the new editorship of Geoff Harrison, but it was decided to delay its appearance.

Features include a look at the Wellington Olympics of 1861, an examination of the New Hadley Ironworks, and an explanation of why Pendil Close, off Haygate Road, got its name.

Meanwhile the group is making tentative plans to restart its programme of talks in September, depending on the situation with Covid-19 at that time.

Copies of "Wellingtonia" are £2 and available from Tony at Ken Francis butchers in Market Street, Wellington.
