One-year-old baby rescued by fire crews after getting accidentally locked in car
A baby boy was rescued from a car by firefighters after he was accidentally locked in.
The one-year-old was stuck in the car in Acorn Way, Shawbirch, Telford, on Tuesday afternoon.
Crews used small gear to open the door. The baby was safe and well.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "At 3.54pm on Tuesday, January 4, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as child stuck in Shawbirch, Wellington. One 12-month-old infant released from locked car by crew using small tools.
"One fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington."
