Conditions are said to be bad for driving with heavy rain sweeping the region and Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service is warning drivers to beware.

Firefighters were called to the B5061 Holyhead Road eastbound at Haygate Road at approximately 3.20pm to reports of a crash that left one vehicle off the road.

A crew from Wellington attended and found that fortunately no one was trapped, and firefighters worked to make the scene safe.
