Fire service to reinspect Telford industrial unit following extraction unit blaze

A Telford industrial unit is to be reinspected to ensure it is safe following a fire.

Crews used breathing apparatus at the fire in Ketley

Shropshire Fire and rescue Service (SFRS) said the were called to a property fire in the industrial estate Sinclair Works at Ketley at around 7.12am.

Two fire engines were sent from Wellington Fire Station and crews in breathing apparatus extinguished a fire caused by an extraction fan.

While the fire service left the scene once the fire was out, a spokesperson for SFRS said a site visit will take place at around midday to ensure the building is safe to work in.
