Hospital fire scare turned out to be false alarm caused by construction work
Two fire engines were scrambled to a hospital in Telford on Monday morning.

But it was soon found to be a false alarm where a smell of burning at the Princess Royal Hospital, in Grainger Drive, Wellington was due to construction work.
Crews were sent from the station at Wellington at 9.33am.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said the smell of burning was a "false alarm caused by construction work".
The incident was declared over at 9.48am.
