Davinia Loynton murder: Suspects released without charge
Four people arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a 59-year-old woman was found at a Shropshire flat have been released without charge.
Police are taking no further action against a 21-year-old man, a 50-year-old man, a 35-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman who were questioned over the murder of Davinia May Loynton in Telford.
A 38-year-old woman also arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until Monday (November 24) while police continue their inquiries.
Kevin Hyden, aged 34, of Glebe Street, Wellington, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody.
Hyden is expected to enter a plea when he appears at Stafford Crown Court on December 22.
Ms Loynton, affectionately known by family as Dink, was found dead in a flat on St John Street, Wellington, Telford, on September 22.
She had been stabbed in the neck and suffered head injuries caused by a blunt force, according to Mr John Ellery, coroner for Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.
Mr Ellery said: "The cause of death has been established as blunt head injuries and stab wound to the neck."
Davinia worked at Serchem Ltd in Telford for almost 30 years.
An inquest into her death has been opened and adjourned pending the criminal investigation.
