£10,000 internet fraudster offered iPhones and tickets which weren't for sale
A man is said to have obtained around £10,000 from an internet fraud in which he was offering goods for sale that did not exist.
For more than a year Lee Hinchcliffe had used a number of websites to advertise items for sale, including iPhones, iPads and concert tickets.
At Shrewsbury Crown Court sentence was adjourned to September 1 to allow Hinchcliffe to seek legal representation.
Hinchcliffe, 25, of The Willows, Welshpool, was said to have committed the offences on various dates between August, 2013, and October last year.
He has admitted five specimen charges of making a false representation by advertising goods for sale that did not have with a view to receiving payment.
The charges relate to his use of a number of websites, including Gumtree, Facebook, Loot, Bargain Pages and Friday Ad.
Hinchcliffe will ask for 21 similar offences to be taken into consideration covering the frauds which involved 54 victims.
