Hundreds of classic car enthusiasts flocked to Weston Park to get a glimpse of more than 1,500 vehicles.

Jaguars, Rovers, Buicks, Morris Minors and hundreds more makes and models filled the grounds of the stately home near Shifnal for the venue's annual transport show.

Visitors to the event were also entertained with a motorcycle display team, quad biking, giant inflatables, a funfair and refreshments.

The two-day event, which started yesterday and was also running today, marks the 25th anniversary of the show.

Exhibitors from across Shropshire, the Black Country, Staffordshire and further afield brought along the cars, some of which dated back to the 1920s.

Among the exhibitors was the Black Country Classic Car Club.

Chairman Neil Moore said: "We have vehicles here today ranging from MG roadsters to a Maestro. These events are a great chance for people to get out and about and get a good look at the cars."

Another star attraction was a 1973 bubblegum-pink Cadillac owned by Sally Matthews from Brownhills.

"We bought it five years ago and it was a wreck," she said.

"It was red back then and nothing worked.

"My husband has spent the past five years restoring it to its former glory."
