Isuzu announces pricing and specification of new D-Max
Popular pick-up truck has gained a wealth of features over the previous model
The pricing and specification of the new Isuzu D-Max have been released, ahead of the pic-kup truck’s arrival in the UK this spring.
Extended in size, the new range of capable D-Max trucks now includes a wide variety of single, extended and double cab variants.
Priced from £15,749, even base-specification Utility cars receive LED daytime running lights, hill descent control and Bluetooth connectivity.
Utah cars sit in the middle of the range. These feature keyless entry, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as satellite navigation and automatic air conditioning.
Top-spec Blade cars get tinted windows and a nine-inch touchscreen plus front and rear parking sensors.
However, one of the biggest changes has been made to the engine. The new D-Max now has a 1.9-litre turbocharged diesel engine, producing 161bhp and 360Nm. Importantly, it retains the 3.5-tonne towing capacity that the original D-Max had, as well as a one-tonne payload. Impressively, the new engine manages to meet Euro 6 standards without the need for AdBlue fuel additive.
The D-Max also comes with a five-year or 125,000-mile warranty, while running costs are kept to a minimum thanks to 12,000-mile or 24-month service intervals. It’s also accompanied by five years’ recovery and European cover.
