Mitsubishi announce new Outlander Keiko special edition
The special edition adds satellite navigation and leather seats, among other features, to the popular seven-seat SUV

Mitsubishi has revealed a new special edition version of its popular Outlander SUV – the Keiko.
Priced from £27,999, the Outlander Keiko is based on the Outlander 3, which sits below the top-of-the-range Outlander 4 in the model line-up.
The Keiko adds leather seats as well as Mitsubishi’s Global Navigation (MGN) unit to the Outlander 3.
MGN incorporates a range of features, including satellite navigation, DAB radio, a CD/DVD player, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is controlled through a 6.5-inch LCD touchscreen interface.
The Keiko also benefits from dual-zone air conditioning, privacy glass, and keyless start. Smart 18-inch alloys add to the Outlander’s visual appeal, while rear sensors will help make parking an easier process.
The seven-seater SUV is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, which can be paired with either an automatic or six-speed manual transmission. This power plant produces 145bhp and 380Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-60mph time of 10 seconds and a 124mph top speed.
As far as fuel economy is concerned, Mitsubishi claims manual models can achieve 53.3mpg on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 139g/km, while automatics fair slightly worse at 48.7mpg and 154g/km.
Mitsubishi offers the Outlander Keiko with a five-year, 62,500-mile warranty. Customers can also opt to pay an additional £700 for the Mitsubishi Service Plan, which covers the cost of scheduled maintenance for the first three years of ownership.
