Aston Martin has announced that it will be commissioning a limited run of Vantage V600 supercars.

Originally produced back in 1998, the classic V8-powered supercar was one of the most powerful cars of its time, pushing out close to 600bhp.

Just 14 cars are set to be built, with production split between seven coupes and seven roadsters. All cars, however, will use a seven-speed manual gearbox to drive power to the rear wheels.

Each car is being designed and handcrafted by the British manufacturer’s personalisation service Q.

Marek Reichman, vice president and chief creative officer for Aston Martin said, “This is precisely why we created our ‘Q by Aston Martin – Commission’ service.

“Our customers can create truly bespoke sports cars by personally collaborating with myself and Aston Martin’s design team. The V600 name remains a classic in Aston Martin’s heritage and I’m proud to see it adorn the V12 Vantage V600 once again”.

Each car receives front and rear dual independent suspension with three-stage adaptive dampers, which should mean that they provide a comfortable yet composed ride.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage V600 is available to order on request, and first deliveries are expected to commence towards the end of this year.
