Pictures From The Past – October 5Welcome to this week's collection of nostalgia photos from the pages of the Shropshire Star.By Toby NealPublished Oct 5, 2018 CommentsWe like to keep our readers on their toes, so here is a sleuthing challenge for you. The questions are – exactly where is this, and who are these two people? The only clue we have is that the photo was taken by "Bartlam, Photographer, Madeley," so the property is likely to be in the general Madeley area. And as it looks a fine old property, we're guessing too that it is still standing and hasn't been demolished in the intervening years. The image, which is perhaps from the Edwardian period, is a postcard and comes from the postcard collection of Ray Farlow of Bridgnorth. Note the bicycle at the far right.
