Pictures From The Past – October 26Welcome to this week's collection of nostalgia photos from the pages of the Shropshire Star.By Toby NealPublished Oct 26, 2018 CommentsMany of Shropshire's grand mansions of yesteryear have either been demolished or reduced in size, but Yeaton Peverey Hall, near Bomere Heath, survives in all its grandeur. This picture, loaned by Sir Beville Stanier, is from October 1906. The facade was designed by Sir Aston Webb, who also designed the facade of Buckingham Palace. According to Savills' website the hall was sold in September for over £2 million.
