On Monday the MPs, all Conservative, voted against four motions including a referendum on any withdrawal agreement, a customs union and cancelling Brexit if the EU does not grant an extension to the process beyond April 12.

Lucy Allan for Telford, Glyn Davies for Montgomeryshire, Philip Dunne for Ludlow, Daniel Kawczynski for Shrewsbury and Mark Pritchard for the Wrekin all voted for Theresa May's withdrawal agreement last week at its third time before MPs, while Owen Paterson for North Shropshire voted against.

Yesterday's four indicative votes were on a customs union, membership of the European single market, a public vote on the withdrawal agreement and power for MPs to block leaving with no-deal.

All four failed, and the most narrow vote was for Ken Clarke's proposal for the UK to seek a customs union with the UK, defeated by three votes.
