Shropshire MPs divided over Theresa May's latest Brexit deal
Shropshire's MPs are divided in their response to the Prime Minister's fresh Brexit withdrawal bill.
North Shropshire MP Owen Paterson has revealed he will not back Theresa May's bill.
Yesterday Mr May announced that Parliament will be given the chance to decide on a fresh public vote on Brexit, providing they back her withdrawal bill.
But Mr Paterson said it is a "direct insult" to the millions of people who voted to leave the European Union.

Following Mrs May's speech, Mr Paterson took to Twitter to say: "I said two weeks ago, the only promise the PM has still to break is her opposition to a second referendum. Given her record, who would now bet against another pivot in that direction?
"I will definitely not be supporting the WA - a direct insult to 17.4m people."
Meanwhile Telford MP Lucy Allan joined Conservatives calling for a new party leader.
She tweeted: "This tells me it is over for @theresa_may and her deal. It’s time to start again with a new leader."
However, Shrewsbury MP Daniel Kawczynski account was in favour of the PM's deal. He posted: "GB requires a Brexit that demonstrates compromise; one that majority of our nation feel is plausible. PM’s Brexit deal is a bold proposal and one I encourage all members of the House of Commons to get behind so we can finally focus on bread and butter issues again."
