Liberal Democrat candidate Helen Morgan claimed victory thanks to a 37.2 % swing which saw them win nearly 6,000 more votes than the Conservatives.

She replaces Tory Owen Paterson, who resigned last month days after being found to have broken paid lobbying rules.
