Huglith Farm, which lies on the edge of Habberley, near Shrewsbury, is being sold by Halls on behalf of G. D. Rodenhurst Farms.

The farm includes a four bedroomed farmhouse with an annexe and useful range of modern and traditional farm buildings.

It is being offered either as a whole or in three parts.

The first main lot is made up of the farmhouse, farm buildings and some 168 acres of land, and has a guide price of around £1.4 million to £1.5 million.

Lot two, which is made up of nearly 29 acres of grassland, has been given a guide price of between £120,000 and £140,000 while lot three, comprising just over four acres of grassland, is valued at between £20,000 and £25,000.

Viewing is by appointment only with Halls by calling (01743) 450700.

A spokesman for Halls said: "The farmhouse is currently divided into two distinct areas – the original 17th century building and a more recent extension, parts of which are in need of renovation. The original building dates to 1605 and comprises a traditional timber framed house of wattle and daub construction, with numerous charming features."

He added that in the section of the house that needs renovation there are four ground floor rooms with a staircase to the cellar, two first floor bedrooms and a bathroom and two further second floor rooms.

The farm buildings include a 75ft square brick former cow house, and cattle sheds measuring 90ft by 40ft and a holding pen.
