Wolverhampton, Cannock and Telford Homebase stores among troubled DIY giant's UK stores put up for sale
Four huge midlands DIY stores have been put up for sale after home improvement chain Homebase collapsed into administration last week.
A rescue deal with retail group CDS, which owns The Range and Wilko, secured the future of up to 1,600 jobs and 70 stores last week but the future of around 2,000 workers and its remaining stores was left hanging in the balance.
Four Midlands properties are on the list of those put up for sale by the group, including the firm's stores in Wolverhampton, Cannock, Oldbury and Telford.
Nearby stores in Newcastle-Under-Lyme and Battery Retail Park in Birmingham are also listed for sale.
