Your tipsy and lost festival self will love this tent-finding app
A godsend for those who know the struggle of getting home at a festival.
After an incredible day at a festival filled with great music, friends and perhaps a few pints in the sunshine, your whole experience can be ruined by one pesky thing – not being able to find your tent.
Luckily, a new app has been developed to help you with just that. No doubt the developers know all too well the sinking feeling of wandering through the fields, wanting your sleeping bag but only finding more mud.

Seriously, how can every tent look exactly the same, making it impossible to find your temporary home?
The app has been developed by Boutique Camping, who say: “We’ve all been there, describing that you/the tent/the car is ‘near the big tree next to the blue thingy’ enthusiastically explaining characteristics of said tree and thingy to no avail.”
That admittedly sounds pretty familiar to any seasoned festival-goers, but now hours spent describing and then searching for the blue thingy are at an end.
The free app saves the location of your tent and car (or anything else you want to note down) using GPS, and you can send any saved locations to your friends. Sounds way better than organising a vague meeting point and spending an hour you could be having fun walking around yelling their names.
There are also lots of other handy features on the app to help you live your best festival life, such as a torch, weather information and even an instruction manual of how to put up and take down your tent.
