Games developer Bethesda has unveiled an early candidate for best trailer of this year’s E3 gaming show but it is for a game that does not exist.

During the firm’s showcase event ahead of E3, Bethesda took a light view of its own strategy of porting the hugely popular Elder Scrolls game Skyrim to a ranch of gaming platforms.

In a mock trailer, the company joked it now had plans to bring Skyrim to Amazon’s Alexa, as well as a wide range of other internet-connected devices of the past and present.

Skyrim made the jump to the Nintendo Switch at the end of last year having already found a loyal fan base on two generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
