A company that has created flexible bicycle reflectors to keep cyclists fully visible when riding at night has smashed its fundraising target on Kickstarter.

German company The Outsider Team launched FLECTR 360 OMNI, flexible bicycle reflectors that fit all models and move with cyclists’ wheels to give full visibility at night.

The reflective product achieves 360-degree visibility by attaching to cyclists’ wheels and grabbing drivers’ attention with non-static light patterns.

The reflectors are adhesive, can be adapted to fit to every bike, and come in two colours: silver and yellow.

The company has beaten its 3,500 euro (around £3,100) fundraising goal, reaching more than 36,000 euros (around £32,000) in pledges.

A single set of reflectors costs 15 euros (around £13); the company estimates to deliver products by September 2018.
