A5 roadworks on schedule as resurfacing gets under way
There were no major disruptions as major resurfacing work on Shropshire's A5 between Shrewsbury and Telford got under way, Highways bosses said today.

The A5 heading eastbound between Preston Island at Shrewsbury and Junction 7 on the M54 at Wellington closed last night at about 9.30pm and re-opened early this morning.
The overnight works are continuing until Wednesday and diversions will be in place.
