Train delays after rail work overruns
Rail commuters in Shropshire faced delays today due to overnight engineering work overrunning.

A replacement bus service was in operation between Shrewsbury and Welshpool this morning due to the track relaying work between Welshpool and Sutton Bridge Junction.
The issue affected the 5.14am Aberystwyth to Birmingham International service, which terminated at Welshpool, as well as the 6.25am Birmingham New Street to Aberystwyth service, which had to stop in Shrewsbury.
A spokesman said the issue has now been dealt with.
