Shrewsbury Flower Show to close Frankwell car park
Drivers are being warned not to park in a town car park ahead of a the Shrewsbury Flower Show.
Frankwell car park, in Shrewsbury, will be used as a car park for the major event on Friday and Saturday next week.
Shropshire Council said normal parking on both the long and short stay areas will be suspended for the period of the show, and all vehicles must be off the car park by 6am on Friday.
Any vehicle still on the area after 6am will be towed away at the owner's expense.
Car parking will be available on the grassed areas at £2 all day.
From 9am vehicles will be directed to the flower show car park at £5 for the day.
Season ticket or resident parking permit holders can park at the Abbey Foregate car park and Raven Meadow multi-storey, but 24-hour access might not be available.
