Shrewsbury town centre's one-way to close next week
Roadworks will see a major Shrewsbury road closed for 11 days over the next week.
The closure of Shoplatch in Shrewsbury’s town centre will take place in two stages for work to be carried out by a number of utility companies Western Power Distribution, Severn Trent, National Grid and BT.
The first closure takes place from 7pm on Sunday, August 13, to 6am on Thursday, August 17. A second closure phase takes place from 7pm n Sunday, September 3, through to 5pm on Friday, September 8.
During the period of both closures the traffic flow on Belmont will be reversed to allow for deliveries and access.
The first stage will see work carried out by Western Power, Severn Trent and BT, and the second by National Grid, Western Power and Severn Trent.
