A483 closed in Newtown after lorry load falls onto car
A lorry has become stuck under a bridge and shed its load closing the A483 at Newtown.
The lorry got stuck when travelling on the main route through the town, hitting Nantoer Bridge.
After becoming stuck, the load on the back of the lorry fell onto a moving car and blocked the road in both directions.
A statement from Dyfed-Powys Police said: "We received a report of a lorry hitting Nantoer Bridge in Newtown at approximately 9.50am.
"The lorry’s load fell on to a moving car and is currently blocking the road. No one was injured. The road remains closed."
