Woman hit by a train at Shrewsbury Railway Station
A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a train.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to Shrewsbury train station shortly before 11.30am on Sunday.
Trains were temporarily suspended while the woman was treated.
Elizabeth Casey, British Transport Police spokeswoman, said: “West Mercia and British Transport police attended Shrewsbury rail station due to a report of a person being struck by a train.
“Along with Shropshire fire service and paramedics, a female was treated at the scene prior to being transported to hospital for further treatment.”
