Two injured in crash between Charlton School and Princess Royal Hospital in Telford
Two people have been injured after a crash between near the Charlton School and Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
Emergency services were on the scene at Apley Avenue at 8.30am, causing long rush hour delays in the area.
The crash involved a grey Mercedes and a blue VW Passat.
Claire Brown, of West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 8.32am. Two ambulances and one paramedic officer attended.
"There were six people involved in the crash, two ended up needing treatment. One patient with neck pain who was immobilised with a neck collar and spinal board. They were sent to Princess Royal Hospital.
"A second patient, a woman, was also taken to hospital for further checks. There was nothing serious in terms of injuries."
