Teenage biker taken to hospital after Church Stretton crash
A teenage motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in south Shropshire.
An ambulance was sent to the scene outside the Travellers Rest on the A49 in Church Stretton just before 10.45am today.
The crew treated a teenage boy for minor injuries and took him to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
A second patient, from the car, was assessed but was uninjured.
Meanwhile the nearby A4113 was partially blocked due to a separate crash, affecting traffic between Ludlow and Onibury.
One ambulance was sent to that crash, which involved a box van and a 4x4, where paramedics assessed a woman who suffered minor chest injuries but did not take anyone to hospital.
