Commuters face disruption as Shrewsbury train services cancelled
Train passengers faced disruption between Shrewsbury and Birmingham today as services were cancelled because of staff shortages.
Some West Midlands Railway journeys between Shrewsbury Station and New Street had to be cancelled, also affecting some journeys between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury.
The 4.05pm service between New Street and Shrewsbury was been cancelled, as well as the 5.47pm train between Shrewsbury and New Street.
Trains at 7.05pm from New Street and 8.47pm from Shrewsbury have also had to be cancelled.
Commuters were asked to check westmidlandsrailway.co.uk for updates before making any journeys.
