Train passengers warned as Shrewsbury to Birmingham train services cancelled
Rail passengers in Shropshire were facing disruption this afternoon as three trains between Shrewsbury and Birmingham have been cancelled.
West Midlands Railway said it was due to a member of crew being unavailable.
The cancelled services from Shrewsbury were those timetabled to leave for Birmingham New Street at 2.47pm and 5.47pm. In the other direction, the service timetabled to leave Birmingham at 4.05pm for Shrewsbury has also been called off.
Other services are running as normal, including those operated by Transport for Wales which took over the Wales and Borders franchise from Arriva today.
