Lorry and car crash in Oswestry
A man has been treated for multiple injuries after his car collided with a stationary lorry in Oswestry this morning.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue crew from Oswestry was sent to Maesbury Road at 11.30am, following reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision.
Fire firefighters used small gear to make both vehicles safe, before leaving the scene at around 11.50am.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said paramedics attended to the elderly driver of the car, who suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
