Driver injured as car hits pole in Shawbury
A driver was injured when a car hit an electricity pole in Shawbury today.

The woman was taken to hospital after the crash, which happened near the junction of Wem Road and Oak Road shortly before 1.50pm.
Emergency service crews gave trauma care including oxygen to the motorist before she was taken to hospital.
The extent of any injuries is not yet known.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue service stated: "Road traffic collision involving one saloon car in collision with electricity pole.
"Crews carried out trauma care, whilst awaiting arrival of ambulance. One female casualty has been conveyed to hospital."
Crews from Shrewsbury fire Station, an ambulance, a paramedic officer and representatives from a utility company also attended.
