Road near Newport to be shut for 12 days for resurfacing work
A road is to be shut for almost two weeks for drainage repairs.
Part of Chetwynd Road between Newport and Chetwynd Park will be closed from Monday, February 22, for 12 days.
A statement from Edgmond Parish Council said: "Balfour Beatty on behalf of Telford & Wrekin Council are planning to undertake drainage repairs and upgrades works.
"The work is set to commence on Monday, February 22, and will last for a duration of 12 days with an end date of Friday, March 5."
The diversion route will use Forton Road, the A41 and Chester Road.
