Crash closes A483 in Newtown as drivers urged to avoid area
Drivers were facing long delays after a crash closed the A483 into Newtown.

Traffic along the A483 came to a standstill after a collision near the Robert Owen roundabout.
Motorists travelling in both directions were affected by the closure.
Police asked drivers to avoid the area or find an alternative route, predicting the road would be closed for a long period.
The police and ambulance service have been approached for comment.
