Work to begin on Cliff Railway repairs that will finally see the attraction re-open
Work to complete repairs of a retaining wall that will allow Bridgnorth Cliff Railway to begin operating again, are to begin on Thursday.
The damaged wall saw the funicular train close in December over health and safety fears.
In May this year, one section of the damaged wall was repaired, but repairs to a further section have been delayed due to problem with the documentation.
Last week, owner of the Cliff Railway, Malvern Tipping, finally returned the documents to approve approval the works, and now the town council has said that the work will begin on Thursday.
