At a meeting of the Community and Governance Committee last Thursday (November 14) it was decided that the town council would continue to subsidise the fare for all paying passengers - non-concessionary passengers.
Market Drayton Town Council has supported the service for hundreds of residents in the region who use the buses to commute to and from the town centre.
The town council does not subsidise concessionary passengers who may have a concessionary bus pass that is available to English residents of state pensionable age or over, or those with an eligible disability and are able to apply for free or reduced travel.
