Based on the best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover the movie tells the story of Lily Bloom, played by Blake Lively and Isabela Ferrer, as she falls in love with Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni) before reconnecting with her first love Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar).

Speaking about Capaldi’s song Lively said: “There was only one song for this moment. Once you see it, you’ll feel it for yourself.

“Lewis Capaldi is beloved for not only his brilliant work, but who he is. I couldn’t be more proud that he told this story with us.

“This is an honour; I will be grateful for forever. This movie means the world to me.”

On New Year’s Eve, Capaldi said in a lengthy Instagram post that he would “continue taking some time to carry on looking after myself” following the announcement he would take a break from touring after struggling with his voice during his Glastonbury Festival set.

Capaldi explored how the pressures of fame have affected him mentally and physically last year in the Netflix documentary Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now.

It won an National Television Award (NTA) in the authored documentary category and has been nominated for a Grammy for best music film.

Capaldi has had five chart-topping UK singles with tracks including Wish You The Best and Before You Go.
