It came during that casual press conference at his Florida HQ, as the votes were being cast and the future of our planet was at stake. This was low-volume Trump, no longer raging at his enemies or howling for vengeance but reflecting soberly on America's shambolic, supercomputer-driven voting system which can take days to deliver the count and costs nearly ten times as much as a simple, paper-form system.

For a moment he sounded more like an accountant than the shouty leader of MAGA, more like someone we can (and, of course, must) do business with.
