I've never met Logan but she has bags of experience and presumably understands the offside rule.
I knew Bishop Rose during her days as a humble curate at Wolverhampton in the 1990s and remember her as honest, principled and endlessly helpful.
You may think these two candidates are obvious or even unimaginative choices for the current vacancies. If so, you miss my point.
I'm suggesting Bishop Rose for Match of the Day and Gabby Logan for Archbishop of Canterbury.
