Jobs hope as Sainsbury's unveils Leominster store plans

Supermarket giant Sainsbury's has unveiled plans for a store in Leominster which could create up to 200 jobs.

The proposed store has been earmarked for Southern Avenue and public consultation events will be held in Leominster Town Council Chamber on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Developers Morbaine said a full planning application could be submitted by Christmas.

The announcement comes after Sainsbury's was rebuffed by strong local opposition in its attempts to build a supermarket in Ledbury.
