Letter: Be sure to have your say as an individual
Is anything certain? Who do you believe? Nothing is cast in stone. Nothing is certain. Things will change if we stay in the Common Market. Things will change if we come out.
Look at your own experiences, however long or short. How have you seen things change? Is it better or worse for you/your family? Be cold as you look. Take off the rose tinted specs as you look to the future in or out.
Scotland and others may really want us to stay in. Yet Scotland wants to rule itself, so our timing, it seems, they let it rule our future. It will certainly have its say. No it won't. The people of Scotland will have their say as individuals. That is what we must do. Have our say, not leave it to others.
Many bodies are shouting out as if they want to continue to rule the world or others beg for a chance to rule ourselves within the whole world. Many countries do. Try to get to live in Australia, New Zealand, the USA or even own properties or run businesses in the countries of some near neighbours. Some of whom wish to join the Common Market.
Our house prices may fall, some say. I too will lose out, but perhaps my grandchildren and their children will be able to buy a home and not be dependent on a landlord.
We all need to feel safebut we all need to play our part and that includes carefully considering how you will vote. But vote.
