Shifnal needs relief on roads

Re Shrewsbury Relief Road Plan: Good grief! How many multi-million pound by-passes does Shrewsbury want?

Here’s us in Shifnal, a former little market town, having to cope with all the traffic clogging and passing through of the middle of the town in spite of its doubling of population with new development, approved by our Shropshire Council’s wonderful planners.

I reckon it’s fine for new development in nearby neighbouring towns and villages such as Telford, Newport, Bridgnorth, Albrighton, etc, all with their new roads and by-passes but in Shifnal we have to cope with roads built for the horse and carriage!

Come on Shropshire Council and spend some of this accrued community infrastructure levy quickly in order to relieve us poor old Shifnal council taxpaying residents.
