Why change a name we know
I really should not let little things niggle me, but for as long as I have been associated with Shrewsbury our town recreation area use been "The Quarry" simple, now it is being referred to as "Quarry Park" everywhere!

Why do people feel the need to change it? If you are local you know what and where "The Quarry" is. If you are not local you will soon find out.
