EU leaders new enemy
I was taken by the contrast between the depressing pessimistic outpouring presented by Robin Lloyd in his offering ‘Stand by for stormy waters’ as Brexit really bites with printed alongside the upbeat message of Vic Tonks who has faith in his country and is ‘Just so proud to be British’ – Shropshire Star 17th November.
Perhaps its about time EU leaders were reminded that if it hadn’t been for the sacrifice of the UK supported by our Commonwealth and American allies they would not be in the positions they are today.
Sadly judged by the manner in which the UK is being bullied over Brexit it would seem that those former evil forces have been replaced by a modern form of tyranny.
