Our trip down memory lane, looking at 10 classic adverts for Banks's beers, shows just how much affection the brand holds with the general public. Banks's Mild in particular, which became the world's biggest selling beer of its type, is what turned the then Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries, now Carlsberg Marston's, into the brewing giant it is today.
More than that, they also demonstrates the power of a good advertisement, which will be remembered many years after the programmes it interrupted have been forgotten.
